Basketball Ireland would like to remind members of the basketball community that all suspected and confirmed cases of Covid-19 must be reported to the Return to Play group.

Charles Higgins, chair of the Return to Play group, said: “Huge credit must go to all within the basketball community for the efforts that have been made so far, but we must remain vigilant to help curb the spread of Covid-19. We need to all play our part, Covid-19 is an incredibly contagious virus and reporting any suspected and confirmed cases will allow us to take the necessary measures to limit numbers affected by the virus within the basketball community and beyond. This will help allow our 2020/21 basketball season to get up and running.”

Any Covid-19 cases involving those in basketball MUST be reported to the Return to Play group by emailing rtp@basketballireland.ie.
